Math facts are an important part of math success so why not make it fun? Spray the Math Facts is a simple way to do just that! This game can be done on a garage door, the sidewalk or on the driveway.

Sidewalk Chalk Math Facts Game

  • Gather together all the supplies you will need
  • Add water to the spray bottle
  • Using a sharpie marker, write the facts that your child is working on mastering onto the craft sticks
  • Place finished craft sticks in a bucket
  • Using sidewalk chalk, write the answers to the math facts on the garage, sidewalk or driveway
  • Be sure to add in random numbers as well to increase the challenge level
  • Explain the game to your child!
  • First, they will pull a craft stick out of the bucket
  • Next, they will spray the number that correctly answers the math fact written on the craft stick!
  • Encourage your child to keep going until they’ve answered all the math facts!
  • The clean up for this game is almost as fun as the actual game itself!
  • Give your child a soapy sponge and ask them to scrub the numbers with the soapy sponge-this will create large colorful circles
  • With the hose-ask your child to spray the garage door clean
