Rainbow Shaving Cream Art Project
Add a layer of shaving cream to the bottom of a pan or tray
Using tempura paint, create a rainbow on top of the shaving cream
Cut paper so it will easily fit inside the tray
Lay paper over the rainbow
Press lightly onto the back of the paper for a few seconds
Carefully peel the paper from the shaving cream and lay it down
Using a ruler or large craft stick, scrape off the paint
Scrape the paint off from top to bottom
Repeat this process as long as your child is engaged
Talk about the different designs each painting creates!
After your child is done creating paintings-allow them to play in the shaving cream!
Yes it makes a mess but shaving cream is an excellent, calming sensory activity
