Rainbow Sprinkle Math Writing Tray
Ask your child to write the number of dots they see on the card into the sprinkle writing tray.
The dotted cards reinforce counting skills and one to one correspondence (understanding that one means one of something, that two means two of something…)
Give your child the stack of number cards
Flip the first card over and invite your child to write the number in the sprinkle writing tray using the paint brush.
Hand your child the stack of number word cards.
Invite them to flip the top card over, read it, then write the correct number in the sprinkles.
Place the addition math cards above the tray.
Invite your child to flip over the top card and write the answer in the writing tray.
For older children that have moved on to multiplication-give them the stack of multiplication cards to solve.
For an added challenge-set a timer for 60 seconds and see how many problems they can solve.
