How to Play
The Halloween Matching Game!

  • Head over to my Etsy Shop to purchase and print the Halloween Matching Game Printable.
  • Mix 6 cups or uncooked white rice, 6 teaspoons of vinegar and orange food coloring
  • Mix together
  • Let the rice air dry

  • Cut out the 12 picture circles 
  • Add to your Halloween sensory bin
  • Set out the Picture Matching Mat
  • Invite your child to pull a picture circle out from the sensory bin
  • Child can then match the circle they picked to the circle on the matching mat
  • Set out the Uppercase Letter Matching Mat
  • Find the hidden circles in the rice and match the picture with the first letter of the word!
  • Example the circle with the spider on it would go on the letter S circle on the Uppercase Matching Mat.
  • Set out the Lowercase Letter Matching Mat
  • Find the hidden circles in the rice and match the picture with the first letter of the word!
  • Example the circle with the cat on it would go on the letter c circle on the Lowercase Matching Mat.
  • Set out the Word Matching Mat
  • Find the hidden circles in the rice and match the picture to the word!
  • Example-the circle with the jack o’lantern on it would go on the word “jack o’lantern” on the Word Matching Mat.
