How to create and play the Cupcake Math Facts Game
Using a sharpie marker, write an assortment of math facts onto craft sticks
Math facts can include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, even square numbers and square roots
The purpose of the game is for your child to improve their quick recollection of math facts
Be sure to chose facts that will provide a challenge for your child but not cause frustration
Write answers to the math facts on the bottom of cupcake liners
Place liners in a tray or muffin tin
Place pom-poms or buttons in a bucket or container
Set out the game and invite your child to play!
Ask them to pull out a craft stick and place a pom-pom or button in the liner with the correct number written in it
Encourage your child to continue until they solve all the math facts!
This is an excellent activity to leave out for your child to play with independently
