purposeful play
fun with math counters
Inspire young math mathematicians by introducing important preschool math skills in a fun, simple purposeful way with math counters. Math counters are an excellent way to explore counting, graphing and sorting. These skills are important for laying the foundation for strong early math skills.
Choose counters that your child would enjoy. Counters are available in many different designs including-Apples, Dinosaurs, Bugs, Sea Creatures, Bears and Vehicles.
Below you will find links to some of my favorite math counter sets!
If possible choose counters that come in both size and color variations.

Arrange by size
-
Sort by size AND color (example: All large red bears together, all medium red bears together, all small red bears together)
